Exploration.
PB&J Adventures motto is Places to go! Things to do! The focus is primarily in the southeastern United States. We do occasionally wander from our comfort zone however. This section of PB&J Adventures features the Richardson Tribe's exploration outside the usual domain. No matter where you reside, the destinations, reviews, and tips found in this section should prove to be helpful while planning your next big family excursion.

This is an entirely new section that is still under construction and revision. Please be patient.

Map Things to do
A brief list of activities and events associated with the destination.
Day 1

Our first day was spent traveling from the Atlanta area to St. Peters, MO (West Saint Louis). It was a long day.

370 Lakeside Park
St. Peters, MO (West St. Louis)
This was a waypoint for our trip. Pretty nice municipal RV park on a lake. Some highway noise, but above average accommodations. Full hookup.
Day 2

We traveled a fair distance this day, but it was broken-up by a couple of great stops along the trail (including a Bass Pro Shop in Columbia, MO). We concluded the day in Nebraska City, Nebraska.

Frontier Trails Museum
Independence, MO
This is a very nice museum featuring artifacts, maps, wagons, clothing, tools, an old 1879 train station (not included in admission), and a gift shop.
Pony Express Museum
St. Joseph, MO
This museum was a lot of fun for the kids. It's located in the original building the Pony Express riders began their trek.
Victorian Acres RV Park
Nebraska City, NE
A very nice RV park near Omaha. Reasonably priced, clean, manicured lawns, Missouri River, near Louis and Clark museum.

Day 3

Our third day was filled with fun and excitement, and one or two life threatening experiences that affected the rest of the trip (first day of tornado season in NE)!

Omaha Zoo
Omaha, NE
An incredible zoo!
Niobrara State Park
Niobrara, NE
Beautiful and historic state park
